The Experience
When to Go
The Cathedral is generally open from 9am to 530pm Monday through Saturday for paid visits, with more limited hours on Sunday. But, because it is an actual place of worship, it's best to check ahead to make sure services aren't being held since that may limit visits
Presently there are three service times Sunday through Friday, and one on Saturday late in the morning. Check ahead though, particularly if you want to attend, as these are subject to change, or weddings and funerals may also cause conflicts.
The Cathedral is also closed to visits on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas - Saint Stephen's Day.

Odds n' Ends
So many other great Dublin attractions are so close, within walking distance even, to St. Patrick's Cathedral that it'd be a shame not to see them as well. The Book of Kells and Trinity College, Grafton Street, the Guinness Brewery, and the Temple Bar District are all right there - just be sure to maybe do the last two before going to church so you can atone for any sins you may commit.

Everything inside the cell was black and quiet except for the breathing of those people around me. A few moments later, the door swung open and my lungs breathed in fresh air with relief. The staggering moment came when our tour guide informed ...364 miles away.
- Catch a Bird's Eye View of the Rainforest in Kakum National Park
- My heart pounds as I look over the landscape. Taking the first step is key to one of the greatest experiences I'll have in Ghana, if I can just get over the height. One deep breathe in and I'm going for it. Stepping onto the first bridge feels like freedom in the sky. It's a shaky freedom for me but freedom nonetheless. Exploring Kakum National Park in central Ghana provides an exhilarating close look at African nature. At 40 meters high in some areas, taking a canopy tour over the Kakum rainforest feels like a walk in the clouds. North ...386 miles away.
