I spent several years at The Dallas Morning News, where I made my way around the building as an obituary writer, reporter, entertainment and fitness blogger and web editor/producer.
Now I'm web managing editor of funky Western lifestyle magazine Cowboys & Indians (www.cowboysindians.com). I also try to sneak in some writing for the site when time lets me.
Travel-love seized me young. My family lived in the Philippines when I was a small child, so all of my earliest memories take place in a hot, tropical haze of Tagalog, speeding Jeepnies and mango trees.
My favorite foreign places I've explored are Malmo, Sweden, and Mexico's Puerto Escondido and Puerto Angel. But I was born and raised right here in Dallas-Fort Worth, so I love a good ol' Texas road trip most of all.
